Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Centennial Spartans.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Chaparral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Little River Academy on the 19th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Midlothian Heritage on the 19th.
