Basketball Recap: Willow Springs Takes a Loss

Willow Springs was the 65-55 winner over Aurora when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Willow Springs Bears took an 88-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aurora Houn Dawgs on Thursday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willow Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Aurora, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Willow Springs will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Licking at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Aurora will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Cassville at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
