Football Recap: West Hills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Hills extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They fell 16-3 to the El Capitan Vaqueros. The game marked the Wolf Pack's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for El Capitan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games.

El Capitan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brody Copp led the charge by rushing for 72 yards and one TD. Those 72 rushing yards gave Copp a new career-high.

Coming up, West Hills will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. The matchup will give the Wolf Pack their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for El Capitan, they will head out to challenge Steele Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Vaqueros' offense will have their work cut out for them.
