Softball Recap: Box Elder's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Box Elder put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Parowan Rams as the Box Elder Bees made off with a 23-3 win. The Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Olivia Daniels was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those hits were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Quintero, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Daniels wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Box Elder kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Box Elder's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Parowan, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Box Elder will challenge Roy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Box Elder's pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so Roy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Parowan, they will square off against South Sevier at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
