Norcom won the last time they faced Churchland and things went their way on Friday too. The Greyhounds slipped by the Truckers 11-10. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Greyhounds' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Truckers are ranked 28th).

Norcom's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Churchland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Norcom will head out on the road to face off against Maury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Commodores will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight. As for Churchland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Truckers will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
