Volleyball Recap: Owensboro Takes a Loss

Owensboro was the 3-0 winner over Franklin-Simpson when they last played one another back in August of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Owensboro's record now sits at 8-13. As for Franklin-Simpson, with the victory, they broke their six-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-20-1.

Owensboro has already played their next match (against Grayson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Franklin-Simpson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Ohio County on the 27th.
