Basketball Recap: North Pocono Takes a Loss

North Pocono lost against Scranton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Pocono Trojans took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scranton Knights. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 271st, while the Knights are ranked 89th).

North Pocono has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Scranton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

North Pocono has already played their next match (against Valley View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scranton has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Scranton Prep.
