Softball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley blew Covington out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Covington got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 6-4. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Ripley now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Covington, their record now sits at 7-5.

Coming up, Ripley will take on Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with six straight defeats, while the Bulldogs will come in with three straight victories. As for Covington, they will square off against Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
