Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx.

Colin Frier was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and eight unearned) runs off three hits. Frier has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
