Volleyball Game Preview: Simeon Wolverines vs. Juarez Eagles

The Simeon Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Juarez Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Simeon didn't have quite enough to beat Tilden and fell 2-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simeon started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Juarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to Mansueto.

While Juarez was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 27-25.

Juarez's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Simeon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
