Union came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Tuesday.

Union never let Tygarts Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-10. As for Tygarts Valley, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Pocahontas County on the 15th. As for Tygarts Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pendleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
