Basketball Recap: Channelview Takes a Loss

Channelview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 77-11 defeat at the hands of the North Shore Mustangs. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Channelview's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for North Shore, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Channelview and Goose Creek Memorial will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for North Shore, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Langham Creek at 12:00 p.m. on December 31st. North Shore has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
