Basketball Recap: Weldon Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Weldon had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 69-24 defeat at the hands of the J.F. Webb Warriors.

Jasey Lee was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 27 points and ten assists for J.F. Webb. Irayland Clayton was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

J.F. Webb's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Weldon will square off against Rocky Mount Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for J.F. Webb, they will challenge Northampton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
