Preview: Mt. Enterprise Wildcats vs. Gary Bobcats
The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats will stay at home for another game and welcome the Gary Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Mt. Enterprise is ranked 1124th, while Gary is ranked 1126th).
Even though Mt. Enterprise has not done well against Broaddus recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Mt. Enterprise took down Broaddus 64-47.
Mt. Enterprise found their leader in underclassman Kaegan Ash, who scored 24 points along with 8 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Ash has scored at least 25% of Mt. Enterprise's points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Durrett, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Gary suffered a rough 59-36 defeat at the hands of Redwater on Saturday. Gary has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mt. Enterprise now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Gary, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Mt. Enterprise, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to Gary in their previous matchup last Friday. Will Mt.
