Softball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley lost to Portland Christian back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against the Eagles, falling 20-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Johanna Eason, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Eason has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Portland Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Valley will take on Waggener at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Portland Christian, they will challenge Washington County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
