Recap: Dunellen Destroyers vs. Mother Seton Setters
The Dunellen Destroyers stacked a third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Mother Seton with a sharp 36-10 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Dunellen has posted yet this season.
Dunellen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Fabiana Ames Castillo led the charge by scoring nine points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Jimenez, who scored ten points.
Dunellen pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mother Seton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.
Dunellen will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Brunswick Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. East Brunswick Vo-Tech is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Mother Seton, they will head out on the road to challenge Wardlaw Hartridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
