Olive Branch and Horn Lake are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but likely not for long. The Conquistadors are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olive Branch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Olive Branch had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the seven-goal drubbing they dealt Magnolia Heights on Thursday. The Conquistadors' defense stepped up to hand the Chiefs a 7-0 shutout. Olive Branch have beaten Magnolia Heights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Magnolia Heights has come to flipping the script.

Olive Branch's offense was hitting Magnolia Heights from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jeremiah Hughes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Horn Lake was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Center Hill, falling 3-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Horn Lake struggled afterwards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Horn Lake fell to 4-1. As for Olive Branch, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything went Olive Branch's way against Horn Lake in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Olive Branch made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquistadors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
