Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Northgate Vikings

Trinity Christian lost against Northgate back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 25-15 in the first set.

Trinity Christian actually scored more points across those three sets (57-55), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Kylie Hanson paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Hanson got some help from Lexie Starcher and her 15 assists. Reese Anderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Northgate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-21.

Coincidentally, Trinity Christian and Northgate will both be playing Landmark Christian the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the War Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
