Volleyball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Peachtree Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wesleyan Wolves. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Peachtree Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12.

Their offense was headlined by Anaya Walters and Jayda Jean-Louis, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Catalina Bianchi Ramos and her eight assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kiya Barrett, racking up two apiece.

Emily Miller was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two assists. Those two assists gave her a new career-high.

Peachtree Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Wesleyan, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Peachtree Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Archer on the 18th. As for Wesleyan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Parkview on the 18th.
