Softball Recap: Moore County Takes a Loss

The matchup between Moore County and Huntland on Friday hardly resembled the 2-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Raiders came up short against the Hornets, falling 19-0. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Moore County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenny Sanders, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Sanders has hit this season.

Moore County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Huntland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Moore County has already played their next game (against Cornersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Huntland, they will face off against Tullahoma at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
