Softball Game Preview: Schuylerville Horses vs. Shaker Bison

The Schuylerville Horses will head out to take on the Shaker Bison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Schuylerville and Hudson Falls, and Hudson Falls kept the tradition alive. The Horses took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Shaker hadn't done well against Troy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bison had just enough and edged out the Flying Horses 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

Shaker saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Hotaling, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Sarah Syden was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Shaker's record is now 2-0. As for Schuylerville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
