Basketball Game Preview: Graves County Eagles vs. Bowling Green Purples

The Graves County Eagles will square off against the Bowling Green Purples at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Graves County will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Graves County didn't have too much trouble with Marshall County as they won 42-26.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 40-34 to McCracken County.

Graves County's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Bowling Green, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Graves County came up short against Bowling Green in their previous matchup back in March of 2021, falling 58-49. Can Graves County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
