Jacob Manning leads a balanced attack to beat Triangle Math & Science

Recap: Eno River Bobcats vs. Triangle Math & Science Tigers

After losing to the Triangle Math & Science Tigers the last time they met, the Eno River Bobcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Eno River came out on top against Triangle Math & Science by a score of 55-48 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eno River.

Eno River's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Manning, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds. Manning set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Caleb Woodall was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ayman Idrissi, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ridwan Abukar, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.

Even though they lost, Triangle Math & Science were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Eno River's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Triangle Math & Science, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Eno River will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Graham at 6:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for Triangle Math & Science, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Southern Wake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. One thing working in Southern Wake Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
