Lincoln waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Green Ridge Tigers a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 11 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Green Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Butler on the 14th. As for Green Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Stover on the 15th.
