Volleyball Recap: Piqua Comes Up Short

Piqua extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 10-12. They came up short against the Troy Trojans, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered against the Trojans since October 13, 2022.

As for Troy, the win got them back to even at 11-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Piqua since October 13, 2022.

Leading Troy to victory were Caylee Workman and Grace Breneman. Workman had 11 digs and three aces, while Breneman had eight digs and four assists. Workman has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Piqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Troy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fairborn at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
