Basketball Game Preview: Oak Park Knights vs. Saginaw United

The Oak Park Knights will head out on the road to take on Saginaw United at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Park comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Oak Park is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Pontiac on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Oak Park took a blow against Pontiac, falling 56-13. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Meanwhile, Saginaw United was beaten by Powers Catholic 75-34 two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, Saginaw United can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Powers Catholic is ranked 55th).

Oak Park's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Saginaw United, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
