Vista Murrieta extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 10-4-3. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted against the Nighthawks since April 9, 2024.

Dereck Romo tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
