Basketball Recap: Dierks Triumphs

Dierks picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks by a score of 43-34.

CHAAMP HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caleb Carlisle, who posted 12 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bradon Wafford, who put up seven points and five steals.

The victory got Dierks back to even at 3-3. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Dierks won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harts Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to challenge King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
