Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Lincoln took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against St. Charles, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions skirted past the Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since April 1st.

Lincoln was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-18, 21-19.

Lincoln's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for St. Charles, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Olentangy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Charles, they will face off against Carroll at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
