Softball Recap: Batavia Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Batavia can now relate to. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheaton North Falcons on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-26. As for Wheaton North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Batavia nor Wheaton North have any future games scheduled.
