Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Golden Gate). They blew past the Island Coast Gators 27-16 on Wednesday. The Titans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1, 2024.

Zoey Beaird was a standout: she scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Pena, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs.

Golden Gate's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Island Coast, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Golden Gate has already played their next matchup (against South Fort Myers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Island Coast also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Lehigh.
