Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Stokes). They breezed past the Atkins Camels to the tune of 53-25 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Atkins still got an impressive performance from Amanda Worrell, who posted 16 points.

The win got South Stokes back to even at 2-2. As for Atkins, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, South Stokes will be taking part in a tournament against Parkland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Atkins, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Forsyth Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on December 3.
