Menomonee Falls has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Allis Hale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. On Saturday, Menomonee Falls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Shorewood. That's two games straight that the Phoenix have won by just one run.
West Allis Hale came out on top against Milwaukee King on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Huskies put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 10-4 victory. Considering the Huskies have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Yovanni Llanas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Daniel Cervantes and Dawson Becker dominated on the mound. Cervantes earned two runs and five stolen bases, while Becker got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave Cervantes a new career-high.
Back at the plate, West Allis Hale let Mason Shore and Luke Schaning run wild. Shore went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Schaning went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most runs Shore has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Shoults, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
West Allis Hale hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Milwaukee King struck out 13 times.
Menomonee Falls is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for West Allis Hale, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
