Marli Kate Shockley gave up the fewest hits she has since back in March on Monday. Nobody could stop her as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Shockley's effort led Wheeler over Ashland and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
