Baseball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

Algoma's last matchup with Mineral Point could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Wolves lost 10-2 to the Pointers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Algoma's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mineral Point, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Algoma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-5 loss against Waterloo on the 25th. As for Mineral Point, they are taking a road trip to square off against Boscobel at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
