Softball Recap: Stone Memorial Panthers vs. Cumberland County Jets

In what's become a running theme this season, Stone Memorial gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They never let the Cumberland County Jets onto the board and left with a 13-0 win. With that victory, Stone Memorial brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Kara Vonachen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also only allowed one walk). Vonachen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI.

In other batting news, Ashely Whittenburg and Cadence Cox did most of the damage at the plate: Whittenburg scored two runs while going 1-for-2, while Cox went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a double.
