Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Milan Bulldogs
The Westview Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Milan at home to the tune of 57-21. With Westview ahead 39-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Westview was led to victory by Kylee Alexander and Mccall Sims. Alexander scored 12 points, while Sims scored 12 points. The contest was Sims' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlee Brent, who scored nine points.
Westview has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Milan, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westview will challenge Gibson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Gibson County is ranked 21st, while Westview is ranked 16th). As for Milan, they will head out on the road to face off against Peabody at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
