Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Liberty Christian Academy lost against St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Liberty Christian Academy Eagles were outmatched by the St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Knights and fell 79-34.

Liberty Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tommy Meyer, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Dickson, who earned seven points.

Dylan Key was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K as he went 7 of 11 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Key a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Bradford, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Liberty Christian Academy's record now sits at 9-5. As for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

The future could be bright for both Liberty Christian Academy and St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Liberty Christian Academy will try to hand Grandview their sixth-straight loss when the two meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K will try to hand Vienna their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
