Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-35 defeat at the hands of the Holland Patent Golden Knights. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Holland Patent, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Clinton will square off against Waterville at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. As for Holland Patent, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-60 win against Oneida on the 31st.
