Basketball Recap: Alamosa's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Alamosa lost against Elizabeth back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mean Moose lost to the Cardinals on the road by a 68-53 margin. The loss put an end to the Mean Moose's undefeated start to the season.

Bryan Jeffs was nothing short of spectacular for Elizabeth: he shot 81% from the field en route to 28 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Those 28 points gave Jeffs a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Steinke, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Alamosa fell to 2-1. As for Elizabeth, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Alamosa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-56 victory against Frontier Academy on the 12th. As for Elizabeth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-46 loss against Denver West on the 12th.
