Soccer Recap: Moon Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Moon Area was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Ambridge last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Central Catholic Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Moon Area were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Central Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Moon Area's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Central Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Moon Area will host West Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Catholic, they will challenge Plum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plum's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Central Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them.
