After losing to Valhalla the last time they met, Monte Vista decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Monte Vista came out on top against Valhalla by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Valhalla scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

Monte Vista has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Valhalla's loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Coming up, Monte Vista will take on Steele Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valhalla, they will face off against Mount Miguel at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valhalla is facing Mount Miguel at the right time seeing as Mount Miguel is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
