Football Game Preview: Perrin-Whitt vs. Wichita Christian

On Friday Wichita Christian will take on Perrin-Whitt at 7:30 PM. Perrin-Whitt will need to watch out since Wichita Christian have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

Wichita Christian might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Kingdom Prep Academy 61-60. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

Meanwhile, after flying high against Notre Dame Catholic three weeks ago, Perrin-Whitt came back down to earth. Perrin-Whitt took a serious blow against Newcastle last Friday, falling 24-70. The state rankings had actually given Perrin-Whitt a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Wichita Christian's win lifted them to 5-1 while Perrin-Whitt's loss dropped them down to 3-2. We'll see if Wichita Christian's success rolls on or if Perrin-Whitt are able to steal their positive momentum.
