It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Haskell ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 60-53 victory over the Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alejandro Becerra, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards. Becerra has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Andraes Collins was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Haskell and bumps their season record up to 14-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Haskell and Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene will both be playing Cisco the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Loboes at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
