Softball Recap: Davis Sr. Takes a Loss

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Rocklin Thunder. The shutout was out of character for the Blue Devils seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Davis Sr.'s defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Rocklin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Davis Sr. will host St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Troubadours have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.4 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rocklin, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Whitney at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunder 1.5, the Wildcats 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
