Basketball Recap: Kealana Pua?Auli and Taylor Lamberson Secure Win for Mountain Ridge

Mountain Ridge won against Fort Hill last Thursday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Mountain Ridge Miners strolled past the Northern Garrett Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 56-38. Winning may never get old, but the Miners sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mountain Ridge was led to victory by Taylor Lamberson and Kealana Pua?Auli. Lamberson posted 15 points, while Pua?Auli had 14 points. Makayla Ziler was another key player, putting up nine points.

Mountain Ridge pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Northern Garrett, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Ridge will welcome Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southern has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Northern Garrett, they will square off against Meyersdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
