The North Central Eagles came into Saturday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 55-45 victory over Edgerton on Saturday. The win was just what North Central needed coming off of a 58-38 defeat in their prior matchup.

North Central can attribute much of their success to Ben Pettit, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pettit has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Meyers, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

North Central's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Edgerton, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

North Central will head out on the road to challenge Emmanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Emmanuel Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something North Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edgerton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montpelier at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
