Recap: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Leigh Longhorns
Even though The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs have not done well against the Leigh Longhorns recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Ann Sobrato came out on top against Leigh by a score of 13-6. This was payback for Ann Sobrato, who suffered a 28-13 loss the last time these two teams met.
Noah Taylor had a dynamite game for Ann Sobrato, rushing for 256 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.
When it comes to explaining why Leigh lost, one person who can't be blamed is Shayan Shariat. Despite the final result, he rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown.
Ann Sobrato's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Leigh, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 6-3.
