Basketball Recap: Adelson Comes Up Short

Adelson played against Indian Springs and lost via forfeit.

Oriyah Clay continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Indian Springs, going 10 of 18 en route to 23 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Clay has scored at least a third of Indian Springs' points. Karmyn Guerino was another key player, putting up four points along with five assists and three steals.

Adelson dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Indian Springs, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Adelson will head out to take on White Pine at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Beatty at 4:30 p.m. Indian Springs is facing Beatty at the right time seeing as Beatty is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
