Stone Myrick posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
